hi i was wondering what u would suggest for a medium to long range varmint hunting, coyotes, woodchucks, cats, lol. i was thinking about just buying the barrel of whatever gun for my Thompson Center Pro Hunter. i was think anythink like a .223, 6mm, but i really dont know, please help, thx

Al?st versitile of centerfire .22 cal rifles.
Properly sited in it can be effective out 400 yards.
The TC Pro Hunter certainly would work at a reasonable price. You might want to look at Savage Model 12 and Remington 700 bolt action rifles as well.
