Interarms mark X

Question
I recently purchased a rifle at an estate sale, a custom 22-6mm.  I know that the action is an Interarms Mark X (commercial Mauser) I would like to know what this rifle would be worth to the right person.

Answer
It is difficult to put an exact value on a "custom" rifle built on any paticular action. There are many variations that can be had when you get into custom rifles.

The Interarms Mark X action is a relatively popular action in which to build a custom rifle around. Based upon the info that you have provided and assuming the rifle is in "good" condition without a scope, I would make a educated guess and say that the retail value would be between $200 and $300.

If I were able to inspect the actual rifle I may have a different opinion but with what I have its the best that I can do.

I suggest that you take your rifle to a qualified dealer and have it appraised by someone who can actually see what you have if you want to be 100% certain.

Thanks for the question.
