Winchester Model 1911

Question
I have a 1911 that was my fathers, I enjoyed shooting this gun very much.  It was always a conversation piece.  My problem is it will not always fire when trigger is pulled, it will fire when barrel is slightly retracted though.  Can this gun be fixed and if so where?  You help is greatly appreciated

Answer
Hi Sean,

First of all let me say that I am not a gumsmith. However, my guess is that it can be adjusted/repaired to eliminate the problem.

Due to the age and design of the firearm in question, I recommend that you contact Midwest Gunworks at 636.475.7300
They can answer repair questions about your gun and advise of shipping instructions, prices etc.

I hope this helps and thanks for the question.
