Hi,
I actually do have much information on this. The H&R (original) went out of business in 1986.
I can tell you in 1950 the company opened a new facility on Cockbum street in Drummondville, Qu閎ec, Canada. It was made between 1950 and 1956. There is no letter date code in serial number.
No exact dating is possible.
