mossberg 500

i have a question about my dads mossberg 500ab 12 GA. I saw that you said it will have a 28 inch Accu-Choke system barrel, So i was wondering whats the difference if mine says 26 inch c-lect-choke?

Other than how long the barrels are the difference is how the choke works.
C-lect is an adjustable choke like a polychoke.

These were real common prior to 1971.

The Accu-Choke system is removable choke tubes that screw in to the barrel.
Its the Win-choke System used by Mossberg under license.
