Answer
Hello Raymon.T.Herrera.
Your rifle is actually a Stevens Model 87 or Savage Model 6. It was manufactured for Sears & Roebuck somewhere between 1946- 1962. This was the time frame that Sears used the trademark J.C. Higgins on their rifles and shotguns. There is another identifying factor that can narrow the gap a little more. If  the rear of your receiver is squared off, it would place it between 1946-1955. If it is sloped, it was made between 1956-1962. There is another way to identify the precise year of manufacture, by the number of ribs on the left side of the receiver. It was Savage Arms Co. first try at a semi-automatic .22 caliber rifle. It worked on the blow-back system that would only function with the case pressure of the .22 L.R. The .22 short or .22 long can be fired in it one at a time.
I hope this helps answer your question and thank you for asking for me. Charles Gage
