Find a Replacement Extractor for Ward's Western 20ga Bolt-Action Shotgun
Question
My brother-in-law recently purchased a Ward's Western field 20ga bolt action shotgun with no serial or model number (we looked all over, including removing the stock). The extractor is missing. It appears to be attached on the top front of the bolt by a small screw. I have researched enough to know that Mossberg, Stevens, and a few others provided the base models for these, but don't know which one to look at for the replacement extractor. The shotgun has a 26" barrel and fires 2 3/4" shells. It ejects out the right side. Thank You.
Answer
Hello Kevin. The closest possible source of manufacture of your shotgun is the Mossberg Model 75B. I recommend that you go to Numrich Gun Parts at www.gunpartscorp.com. On the home page click on Find Parts and follow the instructions from there. They do show a schematic of Mossberg 75B , including the extractor and screw. I hope this helps and thank you for asking for me. Charles Gage
