Noble Firearms: History & Identification of Deerfield .410 Pump Shotgun
Question
I have a .410 pump, model 77X with the name "DEERFIELD" embossed on the barrel. How old is it, where was it sold, etc. Thanks
Answer
Hi,
Noble was in business from 1953 to 1971.
Deerfield was a trade name they used.
There no way to date these.
All the records went to government.
It was inexpensive gun.
I can't tell you where it was sold.
Mail order houses sold many of their guns.
The company closed abruptly 1971.
There no collectors interest.
