Question
doug i just purchased a mossberg model 385kb 20g  c lect choke chamber for 2 3/4  and 3 in shells can you tell me anything about this model what is a good purchase price  is ther any were i can get a owners manual for it thanks for any info

Answer
Anthony,

Not much to tell that you don't already know.  Mossberg made these shotguns from 1965 to 1968.  The 385K are exactly the same as the 395K except they are 20 gauge.  In 90% condition it is probably only worth around $75.  Unless it is in nearly perfect, like new condition you should not have paid more than $100 for it.

In terms of the owner's manual, I could not even begin to tell you where to find one.  There are no online resources for one.  You could contact Mossberg to see if they have a copy or are will to send you a copy.

You could also check places like eBay where all manner of stuff turns up.

By the way, the gun was also sold under the Western Field brand from Montgomery Wards.  It was designated "M175" so that might be another way to search for it.

Hope this helps you out...

Doug
