nonlethal ammunition

I live in the mountains on 4 acres and we have a deer problem. Can I buy a nonlethal 12 ga. shotgun round and if so where do I purchase them. They are big danger to our dogs and us at times.

I am not aware of any non-lethal ammo that would be safe to fire at animals. A non-lethal round could easily blind or maime a deer or other animal. I would recommend contacting your local wildlife office and ask what their suggestion is. I know around my part's, farmers use propane cannon's that just make a loud shooting noise with no projectile's. They also sell deer fencing and many other products aimed at curbing wildlife from your property! Other then that, I would gladly bring a bow and arrow to your place and help you out,lol.
