Aramberri 20 Gauge Shotgun: Information & Steel Shot Safety

Hello Paul,

I bought an aramberri star gauge rifle(20 Gauge) for skeet shooting. I found the letters X, BP and CH on the rifle. Could you tell more information about my rifle? Is it safe to shoot steel?

Its a shotgun not a rifle.
Shotgun have smooth bores and fires shot.
Rifles have rifled barrels and fires bullets.
Those were imported from Spain around 1971.
It pre-dates steel shot. No its not safe for steel shot.
There so few imported that info on them.
