I HAVE AN OLD 12GA. PUMP SHOTGUN,MADE BY MARLIN FIREARMS COMPANY NEW HAVEN,CONNETICUT. THE NUMBER 6564 IS WHERE YOU LOAD THE SHELLS. THE NUMBER L60524F OR Z60524F IS ON THE BARREL. THE STAMP ISN'T VERY CLEAR. I WAS HOPING TO FIND OUT WHAT MODEL IT IS. PAT'D NUMBERS ARE MAY12,1896 JUNE2,196 MARCH29,1904 AUG.7,1906 MARCH24,1908 MAY19,1908 NOV.23,1909, AND DEC.211909. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

There were a number of different model with those patient dates.
My best guess is its a model 24 or 26
I would ask the question at the Marlin Collectors Association with a photo.
