J. Stevens Model 235 Shotgun: Gauge, Damascus Barrels & Target/Dove Loads

When you give a model number, does that indicate what guage it is? Also, how do I know if it has domascus (sp?) barrels? I would like to be able to shoot target or dove loads with it.
