Hello Shirley. Yes, your shotgun was made between 1886-1915. The patent date on the barrel should show the beginning of the year your model was manufactured. This does not necessarily mean it was made that year. Since all the pre-WWII records were destroyed, it is next to impossible to pinpoint a date. This is the address of a company that may help you:
