J.P. Sauer & Sohn A7292 .22 LR Six-Shooter: Identification & Value
Question
Could you please provide information on a six shooter, manufactured by J.P. Sauer & Sohn - Made in West Germany - A7292. On one side of the barrel it says: L.A. Western Six-Shooter Model .22 LR Caliber. The handle appears made of horn. It has a 2 part leather holster but I do not see any markings on the holster. I'd be interested to know the date of manufacture and the value. Thank you in advance.
Answer
Hello Nancy. Your revolver first came over the seas in the mid to late 1950's. These were neat firearms being built to resemble the Colt SSA and the Ruger western-style revolvers of the time. The gun was also pretty tough. Value now in the range of $125.00 to $175.00.I hope this answers your question and thank you for asking for me. Charles Gage
