Mossberg 500 License Requirements in Arizona - Chandler, AZ

Doug, I am thinking of purchasing a Mossberg 500 Defender.
I live in Chandler Arizona, do I need any type of license.
I alreadt have a 9mm Ruger pistol I purchased in a gun store in Tempe a few years ago.
Has any laws changed?  Thanks Brian

You do not need any type of license to purchase a Mossberg 500 shotgun.  I am assuming that you are buying it from a gun store.  You will need to fill out the BATF 4473 form for the transfer, but that should be it.  They may also want to run you through the instant background check process.  The whole process is handled quickly, usually while you wait.

The Mossberg 500 is a very nice shotgun.  I think you will enjoy it.  ( I have one myself!)
