Dan Wesson 1911/45 Bobtail: History, Specs & CZ Distribution

What can you tell me about this pistol? I have heard that Ed Brown  makes this for CZ using all ED Brown parts.

CZ (USA) is now the distributor for Dan Wesson, the later company being an on-again/off-again enterprise. The gun uses many but not all Dan Wesson parts.
