I bot a model 101 3 barrel set (20,28&410) a while back.  The serial number is 228484.  Any idea when and where is was made.  Great gun by the way.

You picked up a very nice shotgun and barrel set. I'm certain that you will get a lot of use out of same.

The Winchester M101/3 barrel set was manufactured from 1974 to 1984. Since 1984 screw in choke tubes have been standard. The 101 is a boxlock gun with a single selective trigger and auto ejectors.

Your 101 set in "good" to "V.G." condition would have an approximate retail value of $1100 to $1600.
