Stevens Model 15 .22 Rifle: Bolt Replacement & History

Question
I have one of these guns, my father got it for 12th. birthday at a brand new price of $ 3.00. My father job in Northern Idaho was to provide meat for the family. This little .22 probable has taken more whitetail deer than most high powered rifes around today. As a boy he told me that he shot them right behind the ear. My father was born in 1921, he has since passed away. My question is, I have the gun but the bolt is missing, I do not know what happend to it. The kind you pull back the little knob at the end of the bolt. Do you know where I could purchase the bolt at?

Thank you

Answer
Coby,

You want to go to e-gunparts.com.  I took the liberty of going there and have provided a link to the page for the Stevens Model 15 rifle.  The cocking button is number 14 on the list.  They list the price as $16.95 for the part and appear to have it in stock.

Here is the link:

Hope this helps you...
