Identifying Your Vintage Ranger Shotgun: Manufacturer Information

I have my father's old Ranger 12 GA choke shotgun, and am trying to restore it, but can not find who manufactured it for Sears Roebuck & co.
Can you help?

Antique guns are out of my area, but I believe that the Sears Ranger guns were those mfg'd before WWII.  Not sure who the mfg is.

I can steer you to looking at the Nurmich site (http://www.e-gunparts.com/crossref.asp) which may give you cross reference to the gun.  A word of caution - don't order the parts from Numrich - they have a HUGE selection, but only send the right parts about 40% of the time in my experience, even when you order the right ones.
