From the description provided it's not possible for me to even really begin to appraise your firearm. Its condition and a host of other variables would factor into its value.

You might be better off taking it to a gunsmith, particularly one with experience in older guns, and have them give you a rough appraisal. You may consider contacting Colt directly. They might not tell you its value, but they could give you some good background information on the gun that would be helpful to someone trying determine its value.
