I have had this gun about fifty years and it wasn't new when I got it. mod. 116 #294398 It has a cylinder 13" long that you screw on the barrell end to fill the gun with Co2, you are then able to fire around ten shot before loading with Co2. I did read the air gun only above, but thought you may know something about this old timer. It did shoot fine the last time I was able to get the Co2 tank filled. I would like to know the year it was mfg. Thanks for your time. Jim O

Hi, Jim.  In the case of guns, the CO2 is considered "Air Power", thus your gun qualifies!  ;-)

Your Crosman, Model 116, .22 cal., Single Shot Pistol, was manufactured from 1951 to 1954.  Its counterpart, Model 115, looked exactly the same, but was in .177 cal..

These pistols originally sold for $19.95 - which, if in "like new" condition would be worth considerably more today, perhaps as much as $125 if in original box, also in "like new" condition.

If your gun is holding the gas as it is designed, you should have a capacity of about 30 shots before running out of CO2.

As for CO2 cylinders refills, I suggest your nearest Crosman dealer, Perhaps a tire store (emergency tire
inflator), A Fire Extinguisher Service store, and, perhaps a Scuba Diving Equipment store.  AND, I have seen them on <AuctionArms.com> and <eBay.com>.
