Ankle Injury Prevention After Skateboarding - Expert Advice

I really hurt my ankle awhile back skateboarding, is there anythign i could do to prevent the same injury again?

Hi-tops, or one of those neoprene ankle braces, or they have lace-up ones that are extra stiff.  Stretch, exercise, strengthen up your bum ankle. - even then you may still feel pain.  I still do, but I keep skating anyway.  It's a choice you need to make for yourself, just try and prevent it as much as you can.
