Mastering the Rolling Ollie: Overcome Fear and Land with Confidence

Question
Hi, I am good at ollieing (not sure if that's spelt right) standing still, but when I want to do one rolling along, I just get scared that I'll fall off, and so while the board pops in the air, I am scared to jump forward so all my weight just stays at the back and it ends up doing a manual while my back foot stays rooted to the ground. I know this actually increases the chance of falling, but I still end up bailing the trick. I know the solution to this is to keep my weight centred above the board and to jump up with it (not off it) but I just can't do this. Any advice because its really frustrating?! Thanks alot.

Answer
hey david, i went thru the same thing as u! it sucks hu! just think, its a freakin OLLIE how dangerous can it be? its actually harder to do them stationary anyway, so u should try to ollie really little while moving really slow, then gradually go up! good luck, always try new techniques and ideas :)
