Question
should my 10 yrs son should skate on 3x100 or 4x100 wheel. Pls let me know the advantages & disvantages for next 2 yrs.

Answer
Hi Liladhar,

I talked to one of the speed coaches at our rink and this is what he advises:

Unless your son is really short or light weight (<100 lbs) I would recommend the 4 x 100 especially with the next 2 years in mind.  If he find the 100抯 to be too heavy, you can outfit the 4 x 100 with 90mm wheels and he can grow into 100's later on.

If he wants to try the 3 x 100, the Luigino Z-frame is an affordable, new alternative.

There are several outlets for quality used skates (namely nettracing.com) if your concerned about saving money.

I hope this helps
