floors

hi i'm Michael,

i want to open a roller skating rink and i wanted to know what are some kind of floors i can use on a rink floor i know i have to use "roll on" over the top but i wasn't sure the kind of floors and i only want to use wood floors

Hi Michael,
  The types of wood flooring you could use are:  

Maple (which is the most widely used)
Parquet, which works fine, because of the "roll on", but you hear little clicks when you skate
Oak
Beech
Pecan

I would say of all the wood floors, Maple is used about 99% of the time.
