Reselling Riedell Skates

Question
QUESTION: Where would be a good place to resell unbroken in Riedell Skates and costumes in DuPage County?

ANSWER: Hi Debi,
That's a tough question.  I'm in DuPage County and am not aware of any shops where you could sell them.  If you know of any coaches or rink owners I would stop in and ask them if they know of anyone who would be interested.  Or perhaps you could place an index card in their office with a list of what you have to sell and a phone number?

What are you trying to sell? I know all the rink owners and coaches in the area.....maybe I can ask around for you.

Here's a website where you can join a skaters email group.  You could introduce yourself and tell them what you're trying to sell.  The if someone is interested they could contact you privately without going through the email group because there's a lot of skaters that belong to it and everyone would get your private information.

  It's called Artskate........   http://slumberland.org/artskate/

Just go to the web site and scroll down to join.

If I can help......just write me again.

Good Luck
Pat

QUESTION: I have 3 white Riedell skate boots I want to sell.  We bought them new and they were used for 1 season.  1 a women's size 8, 1 a girl's size 3, and 1 a girl's size 2.  The girl's pairs have plates.  They are in great shape and still stiff.  They have been in my closet and doesn't look like my girls are going to return to skating.  If you know anyone looking, please pass on my email address.  Thanks!

Answer
Thanks for the list.  If you plan on listing them on the Artskate email group, make sure you tell people the style/model # of the boot such as 297, Silver Star etc.  Also the maker & type of the plates, Atlas, Snyder etc and the size of the plates.

I'll keep them in mind if anyone is looking.

Thanks
Pat
