custom inline skates

Question
My son wears a size 17 double wide shoe, he loves to inline skate but we can't find any in his size. Do you know of anyone who can custom make them in his size, cost is not a concern

Answer
Hi Greg,
I  can have a custom boot made for your son. I believe it would cost in the vicinity of $500 & I would need a tracing of his foot & I would have to send you measurement instructions. The boot would be a leather skating boot & the inline frame would have to purchased seperately & attached. The boot could be high top or ankle height (racing style). You didn't say where you live, but if you are in the NY area it would be simpler because I would be able to do the measurements for you. In  any case, if you want to do this you would need to contact me directly. You may call me at 212 777-3232 or email me at [email protected] - the phone call would make the process easier of course. If this meets with your approval, I would be glad to assist you in any way I can.
