Size on skis

2016/7/15 11:38:57

Question
I am 5'3 (on a good day!) and about 150 lbs - not a exactly a beginner skier, but not intermediate yet.  I would like a pair of skis that would take me to intermediate level and last for a while.   What size ski should I buy? I am looking at the Fisher Vision 20 160 (size) in women's - do you think this would work?  Thanks for your help.  elizbeth

Answer
Can you give me a few more specifics to help me answer? Like where you ski, how many days a year, on what type of snow do you like to be on or would like to improve you control on? Also what kind of size of turn shape do you prefer (short- under 13 m in length, medium 14-18, long/cruising- 19 and up) and how would you describe your speed? Thanks.
