Brakes for Mongoose in-line skates

Question
My son has a pair of low-end Mongoose in-line skates that he loves.  Within 2 months of getting them, he has worn the brakes completely down but I have not been able to find any replacement pads.  It seems that every brand has brake pad designs specific to the brand.  Can you recommend somewhere that would sell pads for this brand?  Otherwise we've got nearly brand-new skates that we can't use.  Thanks so much!

  I'm sorry I can't give you a specific place but I would try a sports store that sells the Mongoose brand like Sports Authority.  If you don't have any luck with sports stores, try your local roller rink and perhaps they could tell you where to find the brake pads.


  I looked online and found a lot of places that sell the skate but didn't find replacement parts.  So try local sports stores first, then your local roller rink.  If you can't find that specific brand maybe someone could recommend another brand that would fit your sons brake.
