My Roller blades arent fast

Question
my inline skates are slow n i dont noe why, is all types of inline skates
upgradable to go faster? cause  mine are slow n n wheels seems kinda hard to
push, is this typical with stock wheels?  i'll try n get a picture of them

Answer
Hi James,
Yes, all inlines are upgradable.  Depending on how much you paid for your skates, they probably came with an average abec rating of 3 for your bearing.

I would first check to see what rating your bearings have.  If they are a 3 then try buying a better bearing.  At least an abec rating of 5 or 7.

Also check to make sure that your wheels aren't to soft. Soft wheels will also slow you down.  If the bearings don't increase your speed then buy new wheels that are a little harder and if your skates will allow a larger wheels try that too.

If you can't do this yourself, go to a local roller rink and they can help you decide what's best for what you need.

  Good Luck and have fun.
