Best Roller Skate Shops in NYC for Roller Derby - Carrera & Kryptonics

Hi there, I am heading down to NYC (from Toronto) July 1st and looking to pick up a pair of Roller Skates (for Roller Derby).  I think I want to buy the Carrera Aerobics or Kryptonics (maybe both, one for indoor and one for outdoor skating). Do you know a place in NYC or Brooklyn that sells these skates?  Are there any other models you would recomend?

I am the only one I know of that sells the Carrera in NYC. I carry no stock & when you order skates from me I require a deposit of half ($70 for Carrera) & the  rest when they arrive (3 days shipping time). I recommend you contact me at 212 777-3232 or email me at SkateGuru@aol.com
If you want to order & have them ready when you arrive, I'll need your shoe size, your choice of black or white skates & your deposit. I suggest you call me to make arrangements. Also I'd recommend that instead of buying 2 pair of skates - you should get the Carrera & a set of Kryptonic outdoor wheels with either China Bones or Swiss Bones bearings - changing wheels is a simple 5 minute process.
Most of the girls I train for Roller Derby use the Carrera & many of them change off with the Krypto wheels for the great outdoors. I'll also clue you into the NY skate scene - the weekend you arrive is a big skating weekend in the Apple.
