NYC Skate Groups & Locations: Find Local Skating Meetups

I heard there were a bunch of people who meet around the NY Union Square area to skate around Manhattan every Wednesday. Is that true? And if so, where do they meet?

Any info about this subject would be appreciated.

There is indeed a group of skaters who skates around Manhattan. To learn more about them go to www.weskateny.com or if you can't reach them through that site, go to the website of the Central Park Dance Skaters, www.cpdsa.org - there are links to that organization & all the other local N.Y.C. skate clubs.
