Question
20 plus years old in perfect shape original owner sitting in my garage hasn't been used in a long time does it have any value. Can send a picture but wondering I believ it was the first year it was produced.

Answer
Hey Ira,

Sorry to say that those old boards tend to not carry much value in today's market. You could maybe get $25-100 if all the parts are there and everything is in good condition. The problem with a lot of the older gear is quite often the mast base or the daggerboard is missing and they are usually manufacturer specific, which makes them very difficult to replace. Another problem is that the plastic sometimes gets brittle on some of the parts and they break easily. You could try to sell it via your local craigslist or ebay for local pick up only. Shipping would cost more than the board is worth. The other options would be to use it as a Stand Up Paddle board or donate it to a kids camp or scout group and take a tax deduction.

Hope this helps.
Keep on sailing,
Windlover
