Best Epoxy-based product for Mistral Superlight Repair?

Question

Puncture
Hi Windlover,

My 1985 Mistral Competition Superlight has a small (less than dime-sized dent/puncture in the deck. As you may know, these boards actually have a warning painted on them about using only epoxy based resins for repairs. I'm thinking of the Marine Tex putty product, but do you have any recommendations of what would be best?

Answer
Hey Dan,

Here is the best product for your repair (Dingstick). Quick, easy, and lasts a long time. It won't take much to fix your board. Dries white and is sandable. You can always use a little appliance enamel paint if you need to cover the repair.

Hope this helps.
Keep on sailing,
