windsurf parts

Question
I have two older boards, a Neil Pryde and a Kepper 304. Both have the part that is flixible and holds the sail into the board (which is a small rectangular insert) broken.  Do you know where I could purchase such a part?  Thanks in advance   Gerry

Answer
Hey Gerry,

If the rubber hourglass part (u-joint) is broken, they are easily replaceable. If any of the plastic parts are broken, I'm afraid I can't help you much there. Both of your boards are quite old and replacement parts are not readily available. You might try ebay, craigslist, or watch for a local windsurfing swap meet for matching parts. The u-joints can be found at www.chinooksailing.com.

Hope this helps,
Keep on sailing,
Windlover
