f2 strato funline

Question
We recently purchased a cabin.  A F2 strato Funline Board only was left.  no sail.  Is it worth anything?  If so, where would you recommend we get the rest of the equipment?  Thanks for your time.

Answer
That is quite an old board, possibly 15 years old. It is not worth anything in terms of selling it.  Parts are near impossible to find.  You could probably jury rig a connection to the board to a new rig (mast, boom and sail) but if you are just learning, that board will be a much steeper learning curve than any of the new wider lighter boards with easier to handle rigs.  So; bottom line: I would say if you really want to windsurf get a used board and sail, mast, boom that is no older than 5 to 7 years old or take lessons until you know what you want and where you will sail.
