one design u-joint

Question
I was hoping you could tell me where I could buy a one design universal joint or what other joints would fit a one design board?

Answer
Hey Ben,

Here is where you can find most older Mistral parts. The piece(s) you will need are in the links. There is another option if your model one design has the style mast to board connection that comes on many one designs. There may be two holes on the mast track, one will take the factory pin, the other will take any newer style screw in mast base (the type that connects to most short boards via a nut in the mast track). I recommend that you use the factory mast base pin system but the screw in is an alternative if you have that type track in your one design.

Here are the links. 1st is the whole parts list, 2nd is the joint, 3rd is the pin.

These parts should get you back on the water. This place is very quick to get orders out. I recently bought a new mast track for a older Equipe and they had it to me in a few days. They're in Hattaras, NC and I'm in Washington state. Great service.

Hope this helps.
Keep on sailing,
