value of used wayler sailboard

Question
Can you give me a ballpark estimate on the value of a used wayler sailboard without seeing it?  the specs on the board are:  length 3.82m, width .68m, volume 258 litres, and there is a number on the end of the board: 0040489. It definitely has nicks along the sides, but doesn't look TOO beat up. I have no knowledge in this area, so even a broad range of estimate would help.  it has a sail with it too, and a fin.  thanks.

Sorry to say that your old Wayler is not worth much. You could list it for a $100 but after getting little or no interest, you may be able to get $50 for it. There is a slim chance you could get more from it on ebay but it all depends on your local area and who might be looking for an older board.

Your board is from the mid 80's and the technology of boards has changed dramatically since then and the old boards just don't hold value or generate much interest to potential buyers. If you are just wanting to get it out of your garage, consider donating it to a kids camp or local kids organization and take a $100 tax write off. You benefit along with someone getting some use out of it.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. When I get this type of question I try to be honest. It is difficult to judge the value of a board as it really dependent upon where you are located.
