Seeking Old O'Brien Parts: Follow-up on 2008 Offer - Surfing & Windsurfing Forum

Hi,

I have the same problem as this person http://en.allexperts.com/q/Surfing-Windsurfing-2074/Old-O-Brien-Parts.htm , and I wondered whether I might be able to follow up on the recent (8/4/2008) offer of old O'Brian parts posted here http://en.allexperts.com/q/Surfing-Windsurfing-2074/2008/8/O-Brien-Sailboard.htm .

Specifically, I'd like to replace that ~6" rubber rod that fits inside the mast and holds the mast to the board.  (I have a functional mast base, which fastens into the board -- only the rubber rod is broken.)

If you can put me together with Karen, perhaps we can avoid sending some old parts to the landfill!  (I realize you recommend a newer board, but I sail very infrequently and it seems a shame that the old board doesn't work for lack of this single part.)
