Question
I'm thinking about getting a new fork for my Mongoose EFX but i dont know the mm of the hole that connects to the frame. I jump anything i can get my bike on so what are some good shocks from $200 or less and that can take disk brakes
thanks
Ryan

Answer
Hello Ryan,

It is for me difficult to say but most likely it is a standard size when your frameset is older that 3 years.
The most brands are making forks with a mounting system who are special made for also industrial standard sizes.
A good schocks from about $ 200,00.
Maybe it is better to look out for a nice and stiff fork in a garage sale with your local bike stores? Than you can get a good fork.
For the price you've mentioned is it in Europe a step in price.
Normally I should say that a Reba from Rock Shox is a good fork!

Take care and be careful with jumping high..

Mike
