Quicksilver Throttle/Trim Switch: How to Adjust Trim - Boat Tutorial

Hi im new to boating and have a Quicksilver Throttle/trim switch to my boat...Anyway can you tell me please what buttons i press to lower and raise the trim correctly, At the moment im just muddling through...I guess its made around the 1980 era, Description It has a small bow up bow down thumb switch and just under that a square trailor button.....

Hi Brian...thanks for selecting the undersigned to reply to your question.

When you begin to take off, make sure the engine is trimmed in toward the boat's transom, then, as you accelerate, press bow down, which will move the lower unit outward. If the boat porpoises, keep adjusting the trim until you reach a smooth and level plane.
