cleaning vinyl boat seats

2016/7/15 18:28:28

Question
I decorated my boat for a 4th of July parade with red, white and blue metallic garland.  The red and blue faded on to my vinyl seats.  I have used Magic Eraser, diluted and quickly rinsed bleach and even peroxide to no avail.  Do you have any suggestions for removal of this dye from vinyl?

Answer
Hello Leigh...Thanks for selecting the undersigned to reply to your question.

Sometimes we don't think about how certain products may have an affect on our boat, such as staining gel coat, paint, vinyl and cloth fabrics, and even wood trim.

Best you take the problem to a professional cleaner such as a dry cleaner or even ServiceMaster, who usually have solutions to resolve such stains.
