Question
I am would like to know about repairing and rebuilding a powerboat that has sunk in salt water. the engines have been pickeled and the rest of the boat is in good shape.

what do I need to know?

Answer
Hi Russell...I apologize for not responding earlier, but I've been very busy with business priorities.

Unfortunately, you didn't specify the make and size of the vessel and how long its been sunk, so I'll conclude the engine is definitely not restorable. Usually, when an engine is submerged in water, it prevents oxidization, but perhaps not in salt water. Otherwise, with such little info to go on, I'm unable to offer proper insight or guidance.
