Question
hi we have a lightburn speed boat it is vintage era no one knows anything about it wondering if you know anything about it looks classic with fins and chrome fibreglass with wood trim? very nice
hope you can help regards rob

Answer
Thanks for your inquiry Rob. I've not heard of a vessel called a "Lightburn". Would there be a manufacturer's I.D. plate somewhere on board? Knowing the region or more specifically the town or city where the craft was built can be extremely helpful in tracing its history. If you can obtain any further info that would be helpful, I'd be pleased to follow through and see what I can develop for your.

I'm aware of a wood boat that was called a "Ditchburn", and was built in the Muskokas, which is in cottage country, north of Toronto, Ontario.

Regards,
Ron Blanchet
