QUESTION: hello sir. what does "horse leaning on the bit" mean?

ANSWER: hi -- it means that like the horse is lugging in or out while he is training. some horses grab the bit and hold it when training. same thing. thanks ED HESS

QUESTION: thanks for the answer sir. what happens if the horse grabs and hold the bit while training? doesn't it has concentration on its job?

hi --- many horses do train very vigorsley and some grab and hold the bit while they are training. it is up to the jockey to control the horse at all times during the training sessions. you can change bits etc to keep the horse training well.  thanks ED HESS
