TrainersTest The test is done in three parts, by a state racing steward, in the state you wish to race in. The 3 parts are the Barn Test (hands on, in the barn with a horse), the Steward's Test, which is a Question and Answer format, with questions focusing on racing rules, regulations and formalities around procedures of selecting races and the Vet's Test, which is also a written test, comprised of Questions and Answers aimed at horse knowledge, care, injuries and general horse husbandry.
