spotting on horse going on its own

Question
hello sir, how to spot a horse running on its own watching the race (excluding straight tail)?

Answer
HI -- YOU CAN JUST TELL HOW MUCH EFFORT THE HORSES ARE PUTTING OUT BY WATCHING THEIR GATES AND ACTION.YOU CAN ALSO TELL WHERE THEY ARE FAVORING THEMSELVES IN A RACE. IT TAKES YEARS TO LOOK AT A HORSE AND TELL IF HE IS GOING WELL OR NOT AND WHERE TO PIN POINT ANY PROBLEMS THEY MAY BE SHOWING YOU WHILE TRAINING.  THANKS Ed Hess
