horses with shadow roll jumping over shadows

hello sir, i have observed few horses jumping over their shadows even though they have a shadow roll unseating the rider during the race. may i know how to correct this problem?

This problem does not have a simple answer. The trainer must identify the exact reason for the horse to react this way. A broad answer is to give the horse more exposure to what is causing him to react in this manner and hope he just simply gets over it, realising there is nothing to be afraid of.
