hello sir, how does a tongue strap help horses breath better?

hi yes a tongue tie will help the horse breath better and keep the tongue from moving around while racing. most horses do race with a tongue tie. you have to see how they train in one first before you put one on in a race.I WOULD USE A NOSEBAND OR FIGURE 8 WHEN USING A TONGUE TIE FOR BETTER CONTROL.
